SEO TOOLS

There are an awful lot of SEO Tools, affiliate marketing guides and sponsors out there-that as far as I'm concerned....are a complete waste of money! Many are also overpriced, useless and may even get you banned from the search engines-so beware.

I have bought them, tested them, worn the t-shirt....littered through out this site, you will see that we have listed only the very best, usefull and quality products, services and sponsors that have been tested by many webmasters and found to be benificial. You don't have to have any of them-but they do speed things up and cut down on your workload. We have only listed those found to be of benifit and not over priced!

What tools are not good for

I dont care what anyone tells you or what seo tools they have, carefully hand submit to the best search engines, eg. google, yahoo etc. Only ever hand submit to directories, eg, DMOZ.

There are many auto submit programmes and tools that will do this for you (We list a great one on our index page) I use them myself for speed and they can work well, I will still state that you should still check your listing, on the biggest and best search engines and in the top directories by hand to be sure. Many large Search engines, eg Google have been known to ignore auto submits-even though it looks like they are going through just fine.

If you are checking your PR Or back links- never rely on just one tool-whatever it is. Check out your site on a few different ones to get an overall picture as many are not that accurate.

Never enroll on ANY auto surf/ or Paid to click programs. They are a waste of time and can defintly lead to getting you banned from search engines and also programes like google addwords. Some webmasters say that is you disable any adds, eg adsense and use them, it can get you listed on alexa etc higher as your traffic rank will be falsely inflated-but really as far as I am concerned it is a very risky practice and really not worth the effort!
